We strongly encourage all dog owners to register your dogs free of charge by bringing in a current copy of your pet’s rabies vaccination.
Any dog found running at large within the Village limits will be contained and transported to the North Platte Animal Shelter. The dog’s owner is charged a $200 fee, to be paid at the Village Office. With proof of payment provided by the Village, the owner will be permitted to pick the dog up from the shelter.
